JEWELRY CARE GUIDE
GOLD
When properly cared for, our 18K Gold pieces can last forever. With its beautiful, subtle hue, you can wear your jewelry every day, everywhere.
Gold is strong—but not indestructible. It’s made to be worn often and loved hard, but even the everyday essentials need a little care.
Be mindful of how you store and wear gold jewelry, and your pieces will continue to look as good as new. When not being worn, store your jewelry in a safe, dry place to protect it from the elements.
GOLD VERMEIL
Our vermeil is a thick layer of 18k solid gold on sterling silver. It lasts longer than regular gold plating and provides the look and feel of gold jewelry at a fraction of the price.
Vermeil will naturally tarnish over time, especially when exposed to environmental factors like air pollution, moisture, and items that contain sulfur, and excessive friction, particularly on the bottom of the ring, will accelerate the fading of the vermeil, however it is easy to restore the shine of gold vermeil jewelry with proper care and maintenance.
Store in a safe, dry place—such as a sealed bag that came with your purchase, This will help to protect your pieces when they are not being worn.
We add anti tarnish to all of our jewelry to prolong its beauty. Proactive maintenance is key. To keep tarnish from setting in, clean your pieces regularly by wiping them with a soft, dry cloth with your purchase.
Please note: Polishing cloths can be abrasive, so apply gentle pressure and don’t over-polish. Do not use steam cleaners or ultrasonic cleaners on vermeil jewelry.
STERLING SILVER
925 Sterling Silver is a lightweight metal made of 92.5% pure silver. It’s highly durable and designed for everyday wear.
All of our sterling silver is finished with Rhodium, a precious metal that has been more expensive than gold. It is a highly valuable silvery-white precious metal and a member of the platinum family. The rhodium helps to protect our sterling silver from tarnishing and allows the new finish of your piece to endure.
Store in a safe, dry place—such as a sealed bag that came with your purchase, This will help to protect your pieces when they are not being worn.
